The European 3* Cup Programme is delighted to have been invited to the prestigious Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials to showcase the next generation of British eventing talent.

Saturday: Team Dressage Demonstration

Visitors will have the opportunity to see the programme’s unique Team Dressage Test in action. This innovative format has become a key part of the European 3* Cup development pathway, encouraging riders to improve not only their individual dressage performance but also their understanding of teamwork, communication and presentation under pressure.

The demonstration will showcase squad combinations working together in a coordinated display, highlighting the importance of accuracy, harmony and collective performance that are essential qualities for championship success.

The session will be hosted by Kylie Roddy FBHS and David Sheerin FBHS, who will provide insight into the programme and the development of riders and horses on the pathway to international championship competition.

Sunday: Jumping and Cross Country Training Demonstrations

On Sunday, squad riders will join Kylie Roddy FBHS and David Sheerin FBHS for a series of educational demonstrations focused on the practical training methods used to develop future championship horses and riders.

Drawing on their experience as international competitors, coaches and championship team managers, Kylie Roddy FBHS and David Sheerin FBHS will provide a behind the scenes look at the training systems, decision making and horsemanship principles that help riders progress towards elite competition.

The session will include:

• Showjumping exercises used to improve adjustability, rideability and confidence.
• Discussions on developing horses from national to international level.
• Cross country training principles that underpin successful eventing performance.
• Insights into preparing combinations for CCI3* competition and championship environments.
• Opportunities for spectators to hear directly from riders and coaches about their training journeys.
