The Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials is pleased to announce a new partnership with HorseLight, a pioneering equine lighting technology company, dedicated to supporting horse health, wellbeing and performance.
As part of this collaboration, the Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials will become the first horse event to install HorseLight technology within its stabling facilities, further strengthening its commitment to delivering the highest standards of equine care.
Developed to support horses’ natural circadian rhythms through scientifically designed bioavailable lighting systems, HorseLight technology, aids recovery, contributing to overall wellbeing and performance. The installation reflects the event’s ongoing investment in innovations that place horse welfare at the forefront of the competitor experience.
Katrina Midgley, Event Director, Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials, said:
“Equine welfare underpins every aspect of our event, and we are continually seeking ways to enhance the environment and care we provide for horses during their time with us. We are delighted to welcome HorseLight as a partner and proud to be the first horse event to introduce this innovative technology within our stabling facilities. It represents another important step in our commitment to delivering best practice standards for our equine athletes.”
Ali Howe, HorseLight, added:
“We are delighted to partner with the Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials, an event recognised for its commitment to excellence and horse welfare. HorseLight is designed to create an environment that supports the horses’ natural body clock. We are proud to see HorseLight adopted by one of the sport’s most prestigious events and look forward to working together to raise awareness of the important role lighting plays in equine wellbeing.”
The partnership aligns two organisations committed to advancing standards within equestrian sport through innovation, education and evidence-based approaches to horse care.
By introducing HorseLight technology, the Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials continues to demonstrate its leadership in equine welfare, ensuring that every detail of the horse’s experience is carefully considered both on and off the field of play.
