Dogs are welcome at Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials and can accompany you throughout the event, including in the Members’ Area and Grandstands, provided they are kept on a lead at all times.
As one of the UK’s most dog-friendly days out, we ask all owners to help create a safe and enjoyable experience for horses, dogs and visitors alike by:
-
Keeping dogs on a lead at all times
-
Supervising interactions with other dogs, horses and members of the public
-
Ensuring dogs have access to fresh water, shade and regular rest throughout the day
-
Using kind, positive handling methods
-
Considering whether your dog will be comfortable in a busy event environment. If your dog is anxious or reactive around crowds, other dogs or horses, it may be better for them to stay at home
-
Complying with current legal requirements if bringing an XL Bully, including keeping them muzzled and on a lead
