Experience the power, precision, and beauty of birds of prey with spectacular falconry displays taking place across the weekend at The Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials.
A long-standing and popular feature of the event, falconry offers visitors the chance to witness one of the world’s oldest field sports brought vividly to life by the expert team at Hawk Eye Falconry.
A Living Tradition
Falconry dates back over 2,000 years and remains the longest surviving field sport in the world. Recognised by UNESCO as part of our Intangible Cultural Heritage, it is a tradition that falconers are immensely proud to preserve and share with modern audiences.

Breathtaking Displays
Led by experienced falconer Alistair Leese, Hawk Eye Falconry deliver dynamic and engaging flying displays that have become a highlight at many prestigious events. Watch in awe as these incredible birds demonstrate their natural instincts – soaring, diving, and flying freely in a truly memorable spectacle.
The team works with around 30 raptors, including owls, hawks, falcons and eagles, all cared for to the highest standards and each showcasing their own unique skills and characteristics.

A Safe & Enjoyable Experience
All displays take place in a carefully managed environment, with the birds flown safely away from equestrian activity, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for both animals and visitors.
A Must-See Experience
Whether you’re familiar with falconry or seeing it for the first time, this is an unmissable part of The Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials. Combining history, skill, and breathtaking aerial displays, it’s an experience that captures the imagination of all ages.
