On Wednesday 15 September, Warwick Racecourse Clerk of the Course, Jane Hedley, will embark on a two-day, 40-mile journey on horseback.
Jane is challenging herself to ride from Cheltenham Racecourse to Blenheim Palace in a bid to raise awareness and generate funds for the RDA.
The route links together Horse Racing and Eventing in a way that symbolises The Jockey Club’s new venture, as organisers of Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials. Leaving from the Cotswold RDA which is situated on the track at Cheltenham, the route will utilise bridleways, byways, and minor roads, providing an opportunity for recreational riders to join in along the way. On the final stage of the ride, Jane will be accompanied by riders from the event’s official charity partner, The Abingdon RDA. The riders will arrive at Blenheim Palace on Thursday 16 September which is day one of the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials.
To join the ride (in return for a small donation) please email Jane directly; email@example.com or to support Jane in raising funds for this excellent cause you can donate below.
