FEI Competition

Two FEI competitions take place between 14-17 September in the grounds of Blenheim Palace. The CCI4*-L will see top horse and rider combinations compete for the top prize, with some using the event as preparation for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. The CCI4*-S is a championship event for 8 & 9 year olds, giving spectators the opportunity to see the equine stars of the future.

The horse Trials at Blenheim Palace began in 1990 and quickly became very popular for riders on the eventing circuit. Well-known faces like William Fox-Pitt have competed many times and hold the honour of having won the main event five times with Pippa Funnell and Piggy March just behind on four wins each. Lucinda Fredericks, Andrew Nicholson and Jonelle Price are also multiple winners – so the roll call is full of top international riders.
