We are thrilled to have partnered with The British Horse Society as lead charity for BPIHT 2023!
Who are the BHS?
The British Horse Society exists to change lives through the power of horses. We protect and promote the interests of all horses and those who care about them, including the 3.5 million people in the UK who ride or who drive a horse-drawn carriage.
Recognised as ‘The Voice of The Horse’ within national, regional and local government, we work hard as a charity to protect the unique bond shared between horses and people, to make sure it can be enjoyed for future generations.
Our Keep Britain Riding campaign aims to safeguard the long-term prospects of the equestrian industry, by increasing community participation in equestrianism.
Why are the BHS partnering with Blenheim?
Through our Approved Centres Scheme, inclusive educational programmes and national club system British Riding Clubs (BRC), we strive to enable people from all communities to experience the joy of horses and riding.
We believe that this partnership will be an exciting step towards promoting even greater access at a grass-roots level. The values demonstrated at Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials resonate with our members and supporters, showcasing how the horse-human bond is benefitting so many people, and critically, the opportunities that are available for all in equestrianism.
Exclusive member discounts
As lead charity partner, all BHS and BRC members will each receive:
- Free entry to the horse trials on Thursday 14 and Friday 15 September
- 20% discount on all tickets throughout the event
- Free car parking

BHS membership gives a huge range of benefits to help you enjoy your life with horses including event discounts and our membership magazine, British Horse. But more than that, membership is vital for helping us raise funds needed to improve access, safety, welfare and education for all. Whether you’re just starting out, or have been riding and carriage-driving for years, we’ll be with you every step of the way.
Support the BHS
With your support and donations, we can continue our vital work protecting and promoting equine interests. From education to prevent cruelty to horses, to protecting hundreds of kilometres of off-road equestrian routes every year and everything in between, we’re dedicated to making the world a safer place for horses and those who love them.
